Ivory and New Windlight Setting

I have added a new windlight setting to my Windlight Settings page. This one is rather neutral, even greyish but I have made it to ease my work in photoshop. In the picture above, you can see a before / after postprocessing. It allows me to stay closer to the colors from Second Life while still adding contrast to make the avatar pop out. This setting is made for studio photography, unless you like to see a purple sky.

About the styling, I have chosen to wear one of the new dresses from coldLogic which has very nice cut out sleeves to show your sexy elbows.

Emerald

Daenerys

Today it won’t be so much a fashion post as I have been playing making my own version of Daenerys Targaryen from A Song of Ice and Fire, aka the books on which the famous serie Game of Thrones is based upon. I guess I should have picked white hair for her silver blond but it is not offering enough contrast in Second Life so I went for a pale swedish blond. The eyes are the eggplant color from IKON Ardent line.

I was very fortunate this morning to find in my inventory the new Patrice skin by Adam n Eve. Sachi Vixen is proposing us a pretty, fresh and smooth face, available now at the store. By the way, if you are not using the SLink mesh hands Avatar Enhancement, the HUD for Adam n Even skins is only 25 L$, a real bargain. The picture below is a bit cleaned but I haven’t altered the colors and such so you can have a better look at the skin.

Small edit of the post as one of Sachi Vixen’s friend runs a fan site about A Song of Ice and Fire, Westeros.org . I couldn’t have found better when I have chosen this skin!

February Fameshed

The Secret Store has a new pretty dress available at FaMESHed in several colors ranging from soft and romantic like snow or vanilla to more daring and vivid tones like teal mixed with orange. While I was there, I have picked boots from Coco and a leather vest from Emery.

In my world, short dress + boots = 60’s look but I did not want to be too much of a babydoll so I have chosen the Ava Skin from Belleza, which suits a grown up woman rather than a young girl. The Virginie hairstyle is one of this week’s releases from Truth. Like always, the eyes are from Ikon. To finish the look, I am wearing the new Atiriya jewelry set from Zaara and mesh nails from Pixel Mode.

Hello!

As you can see I am still alive somewhere, but clearly not much in Second Life anymore. I have indulged myself with a new video card so I had to try to take some pictures. As I did not have much time, I have decided to go the easy way and have picked some of the new Maitreya Collection pieces for this post, hair from Truth and skin from Glam Affair.

In a way, I was eager to see what I had missed in four months but quickly, those huge mesh Lolo Ferrari type breasts you can see all over the feeds have convinced me I had not missed much after all fashionwise. Well, at least, I had a good laugh when I have discovered that, I should be grateful.
