The other day, Maylee Oh had the great idea to add me as a contact on flickr. I am used to first have a look at other’s people picture before I add them aswell. While doing that, i’ve discovered Maylee had a shop: The Secret Store. There was that advertisement for some bags i found so cute and I decided to teleport to have a look. Once in the shop, i’ve discovered accessories and clothes, ranging from kawaii style to stylish. What I’ve seen there is designed with quality at a reasonable price. I’ve picked some items to create this look and I’ll definately go back in some time to check what’s new.
At the same time, I’ve seen Adorkable had new poses, with one set made for bags. After a short trip to the Deck, I was quickly convinced these were the poses I needed as they are cute, give the feeling they are not static but that the avatar is in move while not deforming too much the body.
I am also wearing the new LAQ Claudia skin in Peach. This is not really my style but I am sure she has the features a lot of girls are looking for: pulpous lips, thin nose and wide eyes in a mediterranean style face. She actualy reminds me of Sophia Loren, a great, beautiful italian actress who is very stylish.

Yesterday, i was unable to take pictures in SL as big black lines were appearing on my snapshots. After a whole evening trying to find out what was going out and finaly just reinstalling, I’m presenting you yesterday’s look today. I wanted to title the post “When I love Friday” as Fifty Linden Friday and Rocking Friday have spoiled us with high quality items this week. I’ve mixed items from the 2 last fridays so at the moment when i am writing this post, most are probably not available anymore. Sorry.
I am also wearing the new Laqroki skin, Nellie. The face has much more temper than the previous 2 releases, a grown up woman who wouldn’t mind being a bitch at times if you’re trying to annoy her. It is going to be a hit for sure.

No, I don’t believe yet i am the best of them all, nor the most beautiful or whatever, not yet… I just happen to have seen some girl in world wearing this title while i was taking the following pictures. That made me laugh a lot!
Now, about the outfit: this great sweater from Son!a is a new release available only at the Modavia Fashion Week for some more days, then, it will be at the store, i guess. The pants are a freebie from Chantkare, also at Modavia Fashion Week. I love tweed slacks, they are so elegant. Unfortunately, the prims of the pants cannot be modifed so you will need to modify your shape if your avatar is not super tall with super long legs. I find it a bit annoying to have the prims going out of the knees and a simple resize script wouldn’t help much as the problem is with the length only, not with the width. One might say complaining about it being no modify is puny as it is a freebie but unfortunately, i had the problem with other Chantkare creations, which makes I don’t often shop there while I love the look of a lot of their creations. This elegant clutch is a group gift from Orta. You can also see a small part of the Whippet & Buck Claven Lace Blouse, exclusive for Le Look. For once, i went for the fat pack. Such lace blouses are just the perfect addition to wear undear jackets or sweaters when you don’t want to show too much of your cleavage. You’ll find the hairstyle at Truth’s among this week new releases.
You’ve already seen that skin on me, and you’ll see it a lot more: PXL Dafne. Along with its sister Candy, it just has it all: level of details, expressive gown up woman face with a great body, not oily, respect of the shape (no, it won’t make you look good when your shape is crap), the perfect skin for photography and still great looking with default windlight settings in world. By the way, when taking pictures in world, a lot of people are using special windlight settings to make the prims and skins look better, I do often too. Let’s face it, SL default lightning can make you look ugly. As a photographer, i often have to choose between a goodlooking avatar or a goodlooking background as those neat settings are basicly removing shadows. I’ve found that using skins the quality of Hart Larsson’s ones was greatly easying the whole process and allowing for more options while post-processing pictures. Hmmm ok, to my eyes, lately, PXL skin is “La piu bona di SL”.

This is exactly how I feel about SL lately. But that is fine, RL is calling and soon, I’ll rant about the fact i don’t have enough time for SL. Don’t worry if you see me less active in the coming weeks, i haven’t given up at all. It is only that I have less time to make shapes, build looks and take pictures.
I am wearing a preview of the soon to be released Tuli Audrey Skin. If you’re a member of the TULI Update Group, you can get a preview as a gift in 2 tones at the mainstore. It offers us a soft and delicate face. I particularly like the lips and the lighting on it, they remind me of a soft rose petal. The shadings of the nose lets the shape appear pretty good. With some skins, you need dramatic differences in the shape to see changes in the avatar, as the shadows of the skin are covering a bit too much. Here, Tuli’s Audrey has soft shadows which are not masking the shape completely.
