Silver to celebrate the New Year was chosen for the 52 Weeks of color challenge. Mimikri has released new fur coats so i’ve picked the one that looks like arctic fox.
For more contrast and dramatic effect, I am wearing the darkest tone of the PXL Kasumi skin, accompanied by the metal make-up. Of course, the hair from Truth are silver aswell.

I know, I am supposed to work on my new shop but who can resist some Fifty Linden Friday shopping?
By the way, i’ve found a location and a house! (sneak peak of the build behind all the packages) I am working on the new shop in Kuu Ipo and should open it this week-end … that is if I don’t shop so much. But frankly, have a look at all the goodies of this week and dare tell me I should skip them and work? I don’t know what to begin with? Well, probably the MIEL scarf as it is an add at The Deck which made me leave my work. Then, shoes from Kookie. The scraf is color change so you can easily match it with the shoes. Coming after are a great sweater from Kookie and a hairstyle from !Lamb. Finaly, to present you all my new purchases, some very fun and totaly appropriate poses from Glitterati. To be honest, these are the items i’ve chosen to showcase as I liked the look that came up together but there are plenty of other goodies not to be missed, including shirts from Artilleri.
I am wearing the new League skin, Amber. I am not 100% sold, there are things i like, others which annoy me a bit, like the cheekbones being a bit too light and the skin a bit too pink but that is my personnal taste. It is still a great skin and many will love it.

Sometimes, you think something will help you a lot, make your work so much easier and when it actualy is there, you open wide eyes with horror, realizing you were so wrong and that actualy, it is not helping at all but maybe even making it more difficult.
That is what SL shadows are for me at the moment. While the atmosphere of the pictures is better, i have to sacrifice quality to enable shadows. So far, i haven’t been able to have them with anti-aliasing on, which gives horrible jagged edges. I had to blur all the lines and edges to make them smoother. And anisotropic filtering is just a big NO if i don’t want my screen to turn all black.
If you have a closer look, you’ll also notice the shadows are pixelated, you can see rows of squares becoming lighter.
It looks good, if you don’t pay attention to details or are looking at it from far away. I guess i need to train and get my hand at it and play with the settings to have better shadows but so far, i am a bit disapointed.
On the contrary and let’s now talk about fashion, i am not disapointed at all by this week’s Project Themeory: Fall Festivale. The clutch and skirt are from Milk Motion while the adorable Happy Find’s owl pendant is simply a must have!
The other day, i’ve read on Grazia Horwitz blog that Janie Marlowe from Mischief was back on the track with a new store: JANE. I’ve found at her shop some very cute pieces of clothing. Here, you can admire the aviator jacket which unfortunately hides a bit an awesome lace babydoll. It is definately a place you want to check for reasonable priced clothing.

Yesterday, i was unable to take pictures in SL as big black lines were appearing on my snapshots. After a whole evening trying to find out what was going out and finaly just reinstalling, I’m presenting you yesterday’s look today. I wanted to title the post “When I love Friday” as Fifty Linden Friday and Rocking Friday have spoiled us with high quality items this week. I’ve mixed items from the 2 last fridays so at the moment when i am writing this post, most are probably not available anymore. Sorry.
I am also wearing the new Laqroki skin, Nellie. The face has much more temper than the previous 2 releases, a grown up woman who wouldn’t mind being a bitch at times if you’re trying to annoy her. It is going to be a hit for sure.

Hello,
today was again rich in releases which are not to be missed! I cannot decide on my favorite between the new Leezu Venus jacket which is sexy, original and elegant (well, which is Leezu, you could say…) and the dimples and freckles on tatoo layer from L.Fauna. The freckles and dimples are so cute and a perfect addition to skins which doesn’t have those options. Here shown with PXL Dafne and you can see it blends perfectly. The hair, a fun and adorable style, is from Aoharu and still available at the Hair Fair for some days. The boots are also new, from Kookie, a longer version of the popular Armarda.
I wanted to take the pictures of this look with an african safari like background, somewhat old style, or a colonial house with african animal prints funitures but i haven’t had enough time to find what i was looking for. So, please, if you have any idea where i could find this kind of decor, let met know.
