Bling Bling

Hello,

A very quick post before the New Year’s Eve. This year, like 90% of the past years for 15 years, I will celebrate the New Year with my best friends. For the occasion, we like to give a theme and for this time, it is “Bling Bling”. You can imagine how it made me laugh as i immediately thought about being a blingtard.

In SL, the Vodka sequined Kyoot dress for Fifty Linden Friday Friday arrives right on time. In RL, I’ll go for less bling… I’ll cheat, just a bit of bling in the make-up will do it. About make-up, I’ve decided to go for a much more festive skin with the group gift from Glam Affair and I’ve added the FLF tatoo layer from L.Fauna which shows glitter. The picture below is not postprocess, only cropped so you can judge about the quality of the skin and make-up.

Plum in the Snow

Hello,

here’s my try at the 52 Weeks of color challenge, plum edition. I haven’t been able to do the blue and goldenrod weeks and I barely made it this time. But better late than never.

It would have been a shame for me to skip that color as it is one i am using fairly often, SL or RL, it is stylish but not sad. It is also the occasion to share with you the new wonderful pants from Leezu. I’ve chosen here the short version as i wanted to wear the new Maitreya shoes and socks aswell but I love those pants so much i will probably use them in another color but with the full version this time.

This week again Fifty Linden Friday is offering us a gem, it is a haircut from !Lamb Slowly but surely, this store is becoming one of my favorites for hairs. It is in the top 3 for sure. The styles are original with good textures. I prefer the blondes or light browns to the reds or copper for once, which is perfect as it is often the colors offered for Fifty Linden Friday.

Olive and mauve

Hello,

I’ve been wearing this outfit for quite some days now but hadn’t got time to blog it properly.

I’ve chosen the new Leezu Maria Jacket in olive for its wonderful textures and a combination of colors we don’t see that often. One of the problem when you go with original colors is you cannot always mix and match it easily with other things. Fortunately, Leezu has also the new Leezu tights and the mauve ones answer to the light pink of the jacket. The Courtisane new boots in dark brown were obvious as it is about the same color as the cuffs. Finaly, I can thank my good memory as I remembered that dress from Hucci might have the right color and the great bonus is it has a belt with the right brown.

To accessorize, I’ve used new releases from Je Suis, the Aviateur Sunglasses, exclusively available at Le Look, the Creoles Earrings also from Je Suis, and only available at the Rodeo Drive location (both will be available at Je Suis main location next month) and one of the new ponytails attachment from Amacci.

New Mainstore Opened !

Hello,

I’ve been working hard since Thursday to open the ** Dunes ** new main store, in a much better looking sim, Kuu Ipo, a tropical paradise, with much better quality shops in the neighbourhood.

To celebrate the opening of the ** Dunes ** main store, I am offering a new shape for 1L$ for this week only. It will then be sold at a normal price so get it now! Next week, i will offer another shape for 1L$ also for 1 week only and the same in 2 weeks with a 3rd shape. That means 3 new quality shapes!

The first week shape is Joanne:

Joanne is only available at the ** Dunes ** mainstore and is mod/copy/no trans. The shape comes with a style card to look exactly like the model.

Please remember that a real ** Dunes ** shape is always mod/copy/no transfer and is always accompanied by a bald base and a proper style card. They are sold only by Tanaquil Beaumont and noone else.

Shadows on the Dressing Room Blue

Hello, this is my first attempt at SL Shadows. It didn’t really go the way i wanted but i guess i need to get used to it.

The jacket i am wearing is the awesome The Dressing Room Blue item from Emery. It is nice to see that many pieces of the collection are matching greatly to make this look. Also from the TDR blue are the belt from Veschi and the capri’s and sweater from Baiastice. Exodi is this time special guest and offers a skin from the last line, Isolde, for only 65 l$ you even get all tones with several options like hair or freckles!

As you can see, I am still playing with the fabulous hair from Dernier Cri. The top is part of an outfit from Epic, which appears in SL’s Virtual Fashion Lookbook for Fall 2010. To celebrate, there is a 50% off sale on all the clothing featured in the lookbook. I have to say I didn’t know that store before. It is full of cute fairy and faun fashion. Iki Ikarus has once again spoiled the Dutch Touch VIP group with a preview of the upcoming skin: Josje. This skin is described to be a girl’s next door rather than a beauty queen but i bet a lot of people would like to have such a cute neighbour!
