My pictures will be a bit different today has Harlow Heslop has issued the challenged to post unedited pictures for our blogs. I like the idea as it allowed me to rethink my way of taking pictures.

With time, I have developped a windlight settings and some photoshop editions which allow me to enhance my picture while keeping the colors natural and giving more depth effect. For this set of pictures, I have created a new windlight setting, and I have also framed the pictures so I don’t have to resize them. The result is a bit too blue but let’s say it is the wanted effect.

In a way, I have cheated as I have used newly released mesh items, which remove a lot of problems from the pictures. When you are going to stores like celoe, Exile and The Secret Store, you are sure to have quality products which won’t disapoint you.

I have used another trick actualy, which was not intended at first. I am taking my pictures in .png to avoid loosing details. I am also taking them using a huge resolution like 4000 x 5000 pixels. I first wanted to post the original pictures but that meant uploading 31 mega to flickr so I have decided to downsize them the way i usualy do, transforming to .jpg with a lower resolution, and hiding a lot of problematic details this way like jagged edges.

Finaly, for the skin, I am wearing pUK from Dutch Touch, the new release for the VIP group only.

As a conclusion, I would like to focus on the fact that, wether you choose to edit your pictures or not, because it is your fun to do so or not, while using quality items, a good windlight setting and having an eye for framing, you should come up with quality pictures.

Un petit poisson un petit oiseau

Each time I see that dress from (No) at Epoch Legend event, I want to sing that old french song by Juliette Greco “Un petit poisson un petit oiseau”. It tells the story of a fish and a bird who are in love but they don’t know how to do to reunite. It looks like escher has found the solution though. the event is still going on untill the 1&th March and remember everything there is exclusive, you won’t be able to get it later anymore.

The long awaited new Exodi skin, Sophie, has finally been released. It is a very pretty skin with plenty of options like 10 skin tones, light and dark eyebrows + red on tatoo layer, cleavage option, 5 hair bases, 7 different eyeshadows, 5 different freckles from light to dark and 20 lipstick colors. So way more than needed to make everyone happy.

Be careful as Exodi has changed its maintsore location. For now, Sophie can only be found there. Here the NEW LANDMARK to purchase that pretty skin, and if you are in the VIP group, a free “goddess” version of the skin with a white eyeshadows makeup is awaiting you.

There are new mint eyes colors in the Utopia serie available at Ikon, I am wearing here the light one and you can get a new special edition mint + gold in the VIP group.

Slate Blue

It’s been a while since my last post and I probably won’t post anything before a long time again but I felt like having a new profile picture for the scarse time when I am coming to shop in SL. Yung Back, from YB Prod is mainly known for creating urban building, perfect for roleplay purposes, ranging from bases to arenas or even a snackbar. It Was a Blur

Into the shadows

Vampire… I’ve been role playing such a creature for 3 years now. But so far, i’ve not really worn fair skins. As you might know, textures in SL don’t allow a nice rendering of details for lighter tones as light is often swalloing it all. Same goes for blonde hair. It is pretty hard to find good blonde textures. But, now… WOW! Redgrave did it! Finaly a vampire skin which looks good, is not too gore (like splatered with blood), has fine details. Finaly a vampire skin which doesn’t make you look like a cheap geisha! Definitaly, if you’re into vampires things, go to check the new redgrave skins!

My pictures are not doing justice to the skin so i’ve taken a close up, unmodifed, to show you how nice it is as it appears in SL.
