When Everything Goes Right

Sometimes, things go wrong. Sometimes, things go right. In this case, everything went right. Melanie Kidd was kind enough to drop on me the new Poseur
poses. They were on my shopping list so I was already pretty pleased to receive this kind gift. First thing to go right.

Then I had a look at the poses and I have to say they are perfect for system skirts, elegant, not deforming the body but still with enough movement to add that little something to a picture, even with basic elements. Second thing to go right.

With such poses I needed an elegant outfit, with a system skirt and a bag. And boom, here comes a review folder from District, a new shop created by one of the former designers of Phoenix Rising. I won’t say it is perfect. I like their style, simple and elegant, totaly the kind of clothes i wear. On the other hand, the seams and edges could be better executed and the prims are nor mod, nor resizable. So unfortunately, it won’t fit every avatar. I’ve checked the prices, they are correct for the quality so I’ll more than probably go back to the shop to check how it evolves. Third thing to go right.

One of the new chignons from Amacci was just what I needed to go on with a classical elegant look. Fourth thing to go right.

Finaly, I’ve added some touches of red to complete the outfit. The ::je::suis::Tente jewelry set in fire was waiting in my inventory for the occasion and here it came. Fifth thing to go right.

Flea Market

Hello,

as you most certainly already know,there is a flea market event at Pookie Promenade with plenty of great vintage inspired items. In this post, i’ve chosen to showcase a dress from ::{u.f.o}:: and an adorable bag from duboo wich is typical for a flea market. Too bad they hadn’t got the matching wallet!

If you’re looking more closely at the shoes on the first picture, you’ll see those are grey instead of mint green. I’ve chosen to let them this way as this is how they appear to me most of the time in SL lately. I don’t know about you but i am getting more trouble each day to take correct pictures whatever viewer i may try. Typically, I crash and some sculpty appear grey until i clear cash yet again. Sorry Linden Labs but I am not keen to clear my cash 5 times a day. Please, do something about this.

Under the SoL

Hello,

The Summer of Love Fair has opened its doors to the public and if you dare face the terrible lag there, here are some of the goodies you might get. The dress is from Donna Flora, shoes from Orange Creations and jewels from Aglaia. I am also wearing one of the new hairstyle from Lelutka, released today. For the pictures, i went back to Salimar which is an ideal village under of the sun of an imaginary Italy. I cannot urge you enough to visit this fabulous place.

Note about the dress: while it looks great, this dress will require you to modify your shape, unless you are very thin, mainly the breast, and make it very small so it doesn’t go out of the sculpty.

It Was a Blur

Romantic Vintage

Tres Blah is spoiling us for Stumblebum Brigade with a very sweet vintage ensemble made of a cardigan printed with roses and lace, accompanied by a cute short. The scarf is a Gatcha item from Tee*fy you can get at the Albero Summer Gatcha Festival until 11th Augustus.

Snow White

Hello,

Here’s a little post with some fun creations. I must have been watching Disney’s way too much when i was a kid but a red bow in the hair immediately reminds me of Snow White. Add to that the yellow oneshoulder dress from Coco and bingo, i just had to go looking for some blue leggings and jewels at the Black and Blue Fair to complete the look.
