Slate Blue

It’s been a while since my last post and I probably won’t post anything before a long time again but I felt like having a new profile picture for the scarse time when I am coming to shop in SL. Add also there have been some wonderful new releases lately, among which sublime mesh hair at Exile and beautiful creations at collabor88 like this dress from Kyoot, the earrings from The Sea Hole and the necklace from (yummy).

I am also the lucky owner of some colors of eyes by Ikon Inovia who has rebranded his store Fashism to IKON, along with moving to a new location, I am wearing here the new Utopia line in pale gray-blue.

One Fine Day

Hello,

Today, I wanted to show you some new releases from CheerNo Femme. I’ve picked a leather flared mini skirt and a navy cardigan. In case you would have missed it, anything that looks like sailing wear is the trend for this summer. The bag also comes from CheerNo and I have to say I would totally buy such a wicker bag for vacations.

The flowery top comes from District. It is cleverly made with a sculpted prim and it is better to wear an alpha layer to achieve a pretty hourglass shape effect.

The new flip-flops from Maitreya Gold arrived at the right time to complete the outfit. There are tons of colors available. Each one has sole options and ankles jewels.

Julia Merosi has released the full version of the Je Suis Eternelle jewels. I am wearing them here in hot pink. This set should please a lot of people as it can be worn aswell with casual wear or with more sophisticate looks. By the way, don’t forget the Je Suis Mainstore has moved, you can now find it here. Update your landmarks!

The butterfly glasses by Gos Wear are not new but with all their options, they always can be used to add a final touch to an outfit.

Bling Bling

Hello,

A very quick post before the New Year’s Eve. This year, like 90% of the past years for 15 years, I will celebrate the New Year with my best friends. For the occasion, we like to give a theme and for this time, it is “Bling Bling”. You can imagine how it made me laugh as i immediately thought about being a blingtard.

In SL, the Vodka sequined Kyoot dress for Fifty Linden Friday Friday arrives right on time. In RL, I’ll go for less bling… I’ll cheat, just a bit of bling in the make-up will do it. About make-up, I’ve decided to go for a much more festive skin with the group gift from Glam Affair and I’ve added the FLF tatoo layer from L.Fauna which shows glitter. The picture below is not postprocess, only cropped so you can judge about the quality of the skin and make-up.

What’s Wrong?

I know, I am supposed to work on my new shop but who can resist some Fifty Linden Friday shopping?

By the way, i’ve found a location and a house! (sneak peak of the build behind all the packages) I am working on the new shop in Kuu Ipo and should open it this week-end … that is if I don’t shop so much. But frankly, have a look at all the goodies of this week and dare tell me I should skip them and work? I don’t know what to begin with? Well, probably the MIEL scarf as it is an add at The Deck which made me leave my work. Then, shoes from Kookie. The scraf is color change so you can easily match it with the shoes. Coming after are a great sweater from Kookie and a hairstyle from !Lamb. Finaly, to present you all my new purchases, some very fun and totaly appropriate poses from Glitterati. To be honest, these are the items i’ve chosen to showcase as I liked the look that came up together but there are plenty of other goodies not to be missed, including shirts from Artilleri.

I am wearing the new League skin, Amber. I am not 100% sold, there are things i like, others which annoy me a bit, like the cheekbones being a bit too light and the skin a bit too pink but that is my personnal taste. It is still a great skin and many will love it.

Something Missing

Hello,

I love that new LeLutka poncho, I love the design, I love the texture, I love it, really … but… I can’t get accustomed to having the arms hidden inside. When I look at my avatar I feel like something is missing. I guess, this is photo stock. Great piece of clothing to take pictures but I unfortunately won’t wear it on other occasion. Too bad, i really like it apart from that “detail”.

Don’t tell me you haven’t heard about it, I won’t believe you! Elikapeka Tiramisu has opened a new hair store! Yeah!!! My first favorite hair designer is back. for those of you who haven’t had the chance to know ETD, it was simply the best hair shop in SL for a very long time. Of course, now, we have plenty of great hair designers who have stepped in, all the best for our heads but back in those days, ETD used to be my favorite store as it had natural realistic textures and volumes. I’ve got that new hairstyle in several colors and while it looks great in any color, blonde is simply THE color for that style. Like Sassy Scarborough said on Plurk, it is just too much like Sharon Stone.

On this picture, you can also admire the new lipstick make-up by Launa Fauna. It works great with different skins i’ve been trying. I am so glad Launa did those make-up as I like the lips on her skins so much, and the reds are just the perfect addition to many make-ups as you often have only one make-up with red lips in fatpacks. Lately, I almost always wear eyes from L.Fauna. They have everything I am looking for: great details, right size of the iris, the pupil is nor too big nor too small, shadows and reflections, they are just the best to me at the moment.
