Casual and Sexy

I have been wearing this outfit for some days now as I really enjoy its comfortable yet sexy look. It is nothing original and seen on many places but definitely a casual set ideal to wander the grid. The jeans and sweater are from Maitreya while the jewels and shoes come from Celoe (known as the place where i cannot stay more than 30 seconds without crashing. As they don’t sell their items on the marketplace, I let you fancy how much I love these accessories and what it took me to get them).

I had to change the advertizing picture for the Dunes Lenore shape as the skin was from Exodi which is unfortunately closing. I have replaced it by the pretty Leah from Glam Affair, a skin which seems to meet a great success lately.

Last but not least, Elikatira has released two new fabulous hairstyles. I am shoowing here my favorite, Caramel.

Sodalite and Gaelle Shape

I am in love with the colors of this Chantkare dress and to play with a more couture look, I have paired it with the new leggings from Maitreya in sodalite blue.

I have updated the marketplace and the in world store with the new version of the Gaelle shape I have been using in my two last posts. The shape is made to fit a size M of the standard sizing system for mesh clothings. So she is a bit curvy and very sexy.

Driftwood

Today I went for a look mixing two colors: driftwood as main stream with skye blue accessories to give more life it. The dress is a new release from ColdLogic and is mesh. The accessories are made of the new linen Kayla pumps from Hucci, a purse from LaGyo and the Jewels are a mix’n match from Je Suis, Zaara and LaGyo.

If you are looking for a very sexy but classy set of lingerie, I strongly recommand you to pay a visit to Zaara as the new Chanchal is in store and comes in nine different colors, including classical or more daring ones. I have picked the mocha. As you can see in the above picture, taking a look at the back is really worth it as the little blue details of the face are used for the satin fabric of the back.

My pictures will be a bit different today has Harlow Heslop has issued the challenged to post unedited pictures for our blogs. I like the idea as it allowed me to rethink my way of taking pictures.

With time, I have developped a windlight settings and some photoshop editions which allow me to enhance my picture while keeping the colors natural and giving more depth effect. For this set of pictures, I have created a new windlight setting, and I have also framed the pictures so I don’t have to resize them. The result is a bit too blue but let’s say it is the wanted effect.

In a way, I have cheated as I have used newly released mesh items, which remove a lot of problems from the pictures. When you are going to stores like celoe, Exile and The Secret Store, you are sure to have quality products which won’t disapoint you.

I have used another trick actualy, which was not intended at first. I am taking my pictures in .png to avoid loosing details. I am also taking them using a huge resolution like 4000 x 5000 pixels. I first wanted to post the original pictures but that meant uploading 31 mega to flickr so I have decided to downsize them the way i usualy do, transforming to .jpg with a lower resolution, and hiding a lot of problematic details this way like jagged edges.

Finaly, for the skin, I am wearing pUK from Dutch Touch, the new release for the VIP group only.

As a conclusion, I would like to focus on the fact that, wether you choose to edit your pictures or not, because it is your fun to do so or not, while using quality items, a good windlight setting and having an eye for framing, you should come up with quality pictures.

Un petit poisson un petit oiseau

Each time I see that dress from (No) at Epoch Legend event, I want to sing that old french song by Juliette Greco “Un petit poisson un petit oiseau”. It tells the story of a fish and a bird who are in love but they don’t know how to do to reunite. It looks like escher has found the solution though. the event is still going on untill the 1&th March and remember everything there is exclusive, you won’t be able to get it later anymore.

The long awaited new Exodi skin, Sophie, has finally been released. It is a very pretty skin with plenty of options like 10 skin tones, light and dark eyebrows + red on tatoo layer, cleavage option, 5 hair bases, 7 different eyeshadows, 5 different freckles from light to dark and 20 lipstick colors. So way more than needed to make everyone happy.

Be careful as Exodi has changed its maintsore location. For now, Sophie can only be found there. Here the NEW LANDMARK to purchase that pretty skin, and if you are in the VIP group, a free “goddess” version of the skin with a white eyeshadows makeup is awaiting you.

There are new mint eyes colors in the Utopia serie available at Ikon, I am wearing here the light one and you can get a new special edition mint + gold in the VIP group.
