Add Colors to your Life

As winter gets a bit long and I am craving for spring, adding a bit of colors to my life, to my outfits seemed a nice way to fight one of the most tiresome period in the year. This colorfully daring outfit started with the skirt. Indeed, Maylee Oh, from the Secret Store, has released the perfect skirt for this, with a new african inspired print released for the Fashion House, opened from 11th till 15th February.

While playing with colors, better go for the full effect so I’ve picked the wonderful new Curvaceous boots from God
s in Plum and black and paired it with a bag from Orta which has the same tones. The sweater from Addict and the tights from vive9 are green to play with the contrast. About the boots, Gos is hosting a photography and styling contest. The above picture is my entry for it. Hart Larsson from [ PXL ] has released his new skin, Linda G3 (stands for Generation 3), but it has so much evolved and improved he could have named it Bellinda as in Linda even more beautiful. The lucky members of the [ PXL ] Female VIP group can get it a bit in advance. I’ve picked a daring pink lips one with shadow eyes in tatoo layer to remind the color of the boots and bag. For the others, don’t worry, the skin will be available sometimes next week for everyone.

I am often wearing copper tones hair but in this case it just seemed the best option. With all the colors in the outfit, light brown, black and blonde seemed a bit dull. I wanted a short style to show some earrings and a necklace from Uzuri, which ethnic inspiration matched the theme of the skirt.

King Solomon’s Mines

Hello,

one of Shaï Delacroix latest releases at the Modavia Fashion show made me think about some movie I’ve seen when i was a kid in 1987: King Solomon’s mine, the version with Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone. I am not sure I will find any gold here but i’ll go on looking for Allan Quatermain.

Camel Gold Choc

you’re looking for some ethnic skin? Then go to Uzuri! Ramla is not a new release but it is by far one of the best you can find on the grid as it is made to look like a woman with african origins; it is not just a template skin colored darker as many you will see around.

I’ve used a combination of camel and chocolate colors to emphasize the beauty of the skin. The dress is a new release from Hucci and I’ve used one of their extra mini skirt which has an awesome belt. I would never dare to wear this skirt on its own as it is so short but it is a nice addition to the simple though sexy look of the dress.

Wrapped Chocolate

Hello,

today’s look reminds me of chocolate wrapped in some fancy paper. Yummy! It started with that dress from Chantakare which is on sale at the moment. I quickly added the jewels from Uzuri. I was already wearing one of the new Truth hairstyle which, unfortunately didn’t have a teal option ribbon. Yes, I already had in mind to add some teal to the outfit when I saw those new skins at today’s Fifty Linden Friday Offer from L.Fauna. There are 3 different tones, with and without freckles and with 2 different types of bodysuit colors. And tadam, one of the bodysuit color was teal! Add some gold hints with Chuculet bracers. I picked Maitreya shoes in black as i thought it was already colorful enough. The bag is an old purchase from Barerose at The Deck mall.

Yesterday

Hi,

today is saterday, which means yesterday was friday… day of the special bargains groups in SL, sometimes disapointing in quality and you end up having done the tour of shops without buying anything, cause there is a limit to the number of socks and panties a girl needs in her closet. I almost had given up on those groups to tell the truth. But yesterday was not the case. Maybe the “war” between those special groups is a good thing for cutomers after all. Let’s see in the following weeks…

The top from So Many Styles seems to be a simplified upper version of their new dress. I like particularly like the texture on the sculpts which feels so light.

Farewell Mischief
