I am very excited about two different fashion news in Second Life today. One is that Azure Electriteeth is now also making hair for her brand LaViere. There are three styles so far. I am wearing the most sexy on them on these pictures.

Second and awesome news is the opening of a new store, born from the collaboration of two famous designers, One Bad Pixel, which will provide us with sexy quality mesh clothing. “Can you guess who they are?” is the question you have to answer before the 24th april midnight to have a chance to win the next release from the brand. One is very easy to find while I am still trying to guess who the second is.

Since I have seen a preview of that cheong, i had to have it and imagine how delighted i was to discover the clothes were so well thought after that the cigarette pants are actualy fitting really good under it, wearing the same size. This is so very rare with mesh items, even coming from a same quality store that it is worth mentionning it. The store also offers custom fitting so you can adapt the clothes to your own very private shape instead of having to modify it. The service might seem expensive at first, 1100 L$ for a single product, then 200 L$ for each additional colour. Though, keep in mind it is still a lot of work for the designer.

Hello,

I have been paying a visit to Culture Shock today, actually, a bit more than a visit as the huge success makes it pretty hard to have anything to rezz. I admit I have let my avatar online there waiting for things to rezz for about thirty minutes at several times as all what I was seeing was awesome greyness. But perseverance and patience pays sometimes and I was able to grab most of the items I wanted and more.

Previews and blogs are great. Thanks to them, I as actualy able to navigate a bit the grey ocean and pick the Exile Hair as I knew their name without seeing anything. On the contrary, I was lucky to rezz and discover a store named Cashmere, where i have bought this very sexy bodysuit.

The absolutely fabulous glasses are from Mr Poet. You have to get them. They have tons of options for the ridiculous price of 250 L$. While speaking about accessories… have a look at this outfit. To me, a lot of its drama comes from the accessories. It is often the finishing touch for what you have been styling. In this case, the scarf from sur+, the glasses from Mr Poet and the bag from B@rerose are giving this sexy businesswoman look. Bling Bling

Hello,

A very quick post before the New Year’s Eve. This year, like 90% of the past years for 15 years, I will celebrate the New Year with my best friends. For the occasion, we like to give a theme and for this time, it is “Bling Bling”. You can imagine how it made me laugh as i immediately thought about being a blingtard.

In SL, the Vodka sequined Kyoot dress for Fifty Linden Friday Friday arrives right on time. In RL, I’ll go for less bling… I’ll cheat, just a bit of bling in the make-up will do it. About make-up, I’ve decided to go for a much more festive skin with the group gift from Glam Affair and I’ve added the FLF tatoo layer from L.Fauna which shows glitter. The picture below is not postprocess, only cropped so you can judge about the quality of the skin and make-up.

Bleu Canard

Hello,

Call it the way you like: teal, cyan, cerulean blue, turquoise, bleu pétrole. I call it duck blue and it is one of my favorite colors.

This morning, when I’ve found that skirt at MNK, I was all excited, as I like a lot the combination of taupe and bleu canard (yes, a little of french here as I often prefer the names we have for the colors). Then, a small nightmare began as I couldn’t find a matching top. I’ve tried brown but it was a bit sad. White or cream were not working either. Finaly, i’ve found that sweater at So Many Styles. I was looking for an occasion to use those jewels from Sigma I had picked up at a special price at Coppley Square some time ago; the thin teal line makes it a perfect addition to the outfit. I’ve also found an excuse to buy that bag you’ve seen in plenty of blogs, including Élan by Fayne Khandr (that is where i’ve picked the LM), it is from B@rose and definately gorgeous.

I was a bit disapointed while working on this outfit. I thought it would be easy to find tops with the bleu canard color but after visiting all my favorite shops, I’ve found very little choices. It is funny to see colors wearing the same name (teal) really don’t match.
Last time i went for some shopping in RL, it was a color in fashion, we could see it in plenty of shops but not in SL. I insist here, it is more blue than green and what we often see is a bit too green and too light.

I am often amazed when talking with people to see we can use so different names for the same color. I remember having a discussion with a friend about violet. I wanted violet mascara and he came back with mauve. So, I told him thank you but that is not the right color, what you brought me is much lighter than violet. And then, a very long discussion issued with comparisons like “mauve is kind of like lilac, while violet is like the flower, dark, a bit like aubergine”. In the end, he still calls it mauve.

Flea Market

Hello,

as you most certainly already know,there is a flea market event at Pookie Promenade with plenty of great vintage inspired items. In this post, i’ve chosen to showcase a dress from ::{u.f.o}:: and an adorable bag from duboo wich is typical for a flea market. Too bad they hadn’t got the matching wallet!

If you’re looking more closely at the shoes on the first picture, you’ll see those are grey instead of mint green. I’ve chosen to let them this way as this is how they appear to me most of the time in SL lately. I don’t know about you but i am getting more trouble each day to take correct pictures whatever viewer i may try. Typically, I crash and some sculpty appear grey until i clear cash yet again. Sorry Linden Labs but I am not keen to clear my cash 5 times a day. Please, do something about this.

Sparkling Silver

Hi,

I was inspired by the *LP* December disco body for LP Design and have chosen to play with silver and black to make it pop out of the outfit. While LP is rather into very sexy outfits, i didn’t feel like using it this way and picked old Gisaci clothing I had for more than 2 years in my inventory for a look a bit more chic and jazzy.

If you don’t know… Gisaci is a brand from the Armidi collective. Though most of their creations are more than 2 years old, some are still unparalleled, like those tweed slacks which are among my all time favorites pants. Go for their final sale at The Warehouse, pick the group and get everything at 50% of the normal price… if you don’t already own most of their stuff like I do. (by te way, you need to wear your group tag to be able to TP there)

The hairstyle is today’s Fifty Linden Friday offer from Clawtooth and is inspired by Louise Brooks, an actress from the 1920′s famous for her bobbed haircut. I hadn’t build the outfit around the hair but it happened to be just what it needed for a more dramatic effect.

By the way, this outfit was made thanks to the new feature from the SL 2.1 viewer which allows you to wear several pieces of the same layer. Here i am wearing 2 shirts so i could still get the pants over the body and the Gisaci shirt unfortunately doesn’t come on the undershirt layer, which has always a bit annoyed me.

Primitive Bling

Now, i am not so sure i will release it or keep it for myself, hehe. The hair style is from Mina Fashion. The bangs are framing the face in a very feminine way without being too voluminous. Blonde hair and tan skin.. such a cliché but so sexy!

Blue Summer

Hello,

in the past days, i’ve posted a lot of pictures in the blue or pink tones. One of the reasons is blue is the perfect summer sky. While yellow is often the summer color, i need a blue sky to really feel like it is summer. I live in Belgium, a country known for its rainy weather. Even when it is sunny, the sky tend to be a light shade of blue and I’m always admiring southern countries deeper shades of blue skies.

About pink now… i guess it is my inner Barbie showing up. I do like pink, though i am not wearing it a lot, rather in eye make-ups than clothes, that color has a sweet and warm touch which echoes joy and happiness to me. I was very pleased to see that 50% sale on the new Hucci dress only at Le Look shopping sim for these reasons. A good excuse to wear pink for the day. When i was taking the pictures, i had fun playing with the movement created by its flexi prims. 138 L$ for that dress is not a deal, it is a steal!

On a side note, if you haven’t paid a visit to The new Dressing Room Blue yet, don’t waste more time! There are great bargains to get there, especially the new Exile Malibu hairstyle in special TDRB colors. Don’t miss it! The bag was last 50 Linden Friday item. I am showing it a bit late but i am sure you can still get it at Miel, though at a more expensive price.

Now about the scarf… it is a gatcha from the Albero Summer Gatcha Festival. I know it is not blending in the other tones of the pictures but that is exactly what i wanted. Something that offers contrast and mint tone was just great to my eyes for that as it is not agressive.

Snow White

Hello,

Here’s a little post with some fun creations. I must have been watching Disney’s way too much when i was a kid but a red bow in the hair immediately reminds me of Snow White. Add to that the yellow oneshoulder dress from Coco and bingo, i just had to go looking for some blue leggings and jewels at the Black and Blue Fair to complete the look. I am also wearing the great new shoes from Orange Creations in red. Now, to wait for the Prince…
