Excited

I am very excited about two different fashion news in Second Life today. One is that Azure Electriteeth is now also making hair for her brand LaViere. There are three styles so far. I am wearing the most sexy on them on these pictures.

Second and awesome news is the opening of a new store, born from the collaboration of two famous designers, One Bad Pixel, which will provide us with sexy quality mesh clothing. “Can you guess who they are?” is the question you have to answer before the 24th april midnight to have a chance to win the next release from the brand. One is very easy to find while I am still trying to guess who the second is.

Since I have seen a preview of that cheong, i had to have it and imagine how delighted i was to discover the clothes were so well thought after that the cigarette pants are actualy fitting really good under it, wearing the same size. This is so very rare with mesh items, even coming from a same quality store that it is worth mentionning it. The store also offers custom fitting so you can adapt the clothes to your own very private shape instead of having to modify it. The service might seem expensive at first, 1100 L$ for a single product, then 200 L$ for each additional colour. Though, keep in mind it is still a lot of work for the designer.

Sodalite and Gaelle Shape

I am in love with the colors of this Chantkare dress and to play with a more couture look, I have paired it with the new leggings from Maitreya in sodalite blue.

I have updated the marketplace and the in world store with the new version of the Gaelle shape I have been using in my two last posts. The shape is made to fit a size M of the standard sizing system for mesh clothings. So she is a bit curvy and very sexy.

Haute Punk Special Effects

The December Collabor88 collection is out and this time, it has a mixed theme of winter’s edge and haute punk couture, which for my taste, is just perfect while others might not be so interested in it. While I may not have purchased every single item presented there, I have to confess I have bought more than usual.

Today’s look is made with my favorite items: a mesh skirt from Aura, pants, sweater and boots from The Sea Hole, a top from Kyoot, a mesh scarf from Boom and a lovely skin from Illusory.

I would like to add a few words about the pictures. You may notice light effects around the character and on the background. Lately, I am playing with windlight settings but they don’t always offer a nice light for the face while other shadows are improved. To compensate, I am wearing a soft facelamp in Second Life and the special effects are appearing after post processing. I find it funny how things you don’t see on the basic picture may appear while working on it so I have decided to keep them.

What’s Wrong?

I know, I am supposed to work on my new shop but who can resist some Fifty Linden Friday shopping?

By the way, i’ve found a location and a house! (sneak peak of the build behind all the packages) I am working on the new shop in Kuu Ipo and should open it this week-end … that is if I don’t shop so much. But frankly, have a look at all the goodies of this week and dare tell me I should skip them and work? I don’t know what to begin with? Well, probably the MIEL scarf as it is an add at The Deck which made me leave my work. Then, shoes from Kookie. The scraf is color change so you can easily match it with the shoes. Coming after are a great sweater from Kookie and a hairstyle from !Lamb. Finaly, to present you all my new purchases, some very fun and totaly appropriate poses from Glitterati. To be honest, these are the items i’ve chosen to showcase as I liked the look that came up together but there are plenty of other goodies not to be missed, including shirts from Artilleri.

I am wearing the new League skin, Amber. I am not 100% sold, there are things i like, others which annoy me a bit, like the cheekbones being a bit too light and the skin a bit too pink but that is my personnal taste. It is still a great skin and many will love it.
